Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had some drawbacks like noise issues and lack of fire safety information, but my evening meal was exceptional. The service had its ups and downs, with some staff being friendly and efficient while others were too preoccupied with their own conversations. The location was ideal for our plans, although noise disruptions were a downside. The dining experience was a mix of positives and negatives. Despite the room quirks, the hotel had its charm overall.
My stay at the hotel was overall very nice, but there were some issues. The room, despite being comfy for more than one night, was in need of a refurbishment, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately, my room (224) was located right over the bar and entrance, close to a busy road, resulting in a very noisy environment. The paint fumes in the room forced me to keep the window open, letting in the loud bar noise and traffic from below. Additionally, the quiz night made the situation even more disruptive.
The hotel seemed lovely at first but had some room issues like the dangerous setup with no fire safety information, awkward furniture placement, and lack of bathroom privacy. On the bright side, the sea bass for dinner was amazing. Unfortunately, noise disturbances from the car park and late-night conversations were major inconveniences.
